Design Night LIVE is a Saturday night filled with design sketches, games, prizes, familiar faces, a silent auction, and more! During this interactive virtual event, attendees from all over will come together to celebrate design, community, and innovation! We will be sharing the vision and impact of CoDesign Collaborative and hear from designers from around the world about the designs they can’t live without. Mixologist Recipe

During the demo our mixologist will be preparing a Torched Not So Old Fashioned. It will be dressed with a Bruleed Orange Wheel and the glass will be smoked out with cinnamon.

Ingredients
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Escuminac Late Harvest maple syrup (notes of rye, caramel, roasted sugar)
  • 2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • 1 orange slice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 bruleed orange wheel

Food Demo Recipe

During the demo our chef will be preparing a 24-Karat Diamond Kimbap, a Korean sushi roll laced with edible diamond glitter.

 
Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sushi rice, cooked & cooled
  • 2 red bell pepper strips
  • 2 yellow bell pepper strips
  • 1 carrot strip
  • 1 cucumber strip
  • 1 scallion strip
  • 1 nori sheet
  •  ½ tsp mayo
  • ½ tsp sriracha
  • ½ tsp chile paste
  • ½ tsp water
  • 1 tsp (toasted) sesame oil
  • ½ tsp butter
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 tbsp edible diamond glitter
