Annual Fund

Your Annual Fund gift goes where the Museum needs it most: ensuring accessible design education and inspiration for all.

Teens in Cambridge, MA present their ideas for a community event, using the design process as a tool for planning. This photo is from before the COVID-19 Pandemic.

It has been a big year for Design Museum Everywhere, utilizing our nomadic structure and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by creating new programs, bringing our We Design exhibition online, starting the Design is Everywhere podcast, and launching a Diversity in Action Training program. We are now more true to our mission than ever before: we bring the transformative power of design everywhere.

In 2021, we will increase our impact and serve our growing community from over 44 states and 17 countries. We are creating a special issue of the Design Museum Magazine, which will be published one year after George Floyd’s death, on the Design of Policing. This important issue will analyze how policing is designed across many design fields, and show how design can help improve public safety. We will continue to add to our growing list of 106 anti-racism resources spanning design specific and general self-education books, podcasts, and organizations to follow, and we will welcome another cohort of teens to our Neighborhood Design Project, this year our youth-focused design program will be fully virtual..

Your gift to the Annual Fund provides the critical funding necessary to ensure that our high-quality programs, youth education, and groundbreaking exhibitions continue to be accessible and available to our growing community across the country and around the world!

Support the Annual Fund today to ensure accessible design education and inspiration for all.
