Recap: Extraordinary Playscapes Opening Reception

April 21, 2017 | | View Comments

On April 6th, we officially kicked-0ff Extraordinary Playscapes at the San Francisco Public Library! Our biggest exhibition to date is comprised of extensive case studies, dioramas, and interactive play installations. We were joined by locals from across the Bay Area as well as some of our amazing program supporters, including the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, Playworld, Richard Dattner, and Another Planet Entertainment.

Attendees were able to play with the Imagination Playground and the PlayCube while learning about innovative play environments from around the world. Kids and adults tapped into their imagination and creativity through the exhibitions interactive elements.

We had a blast bringing Extraordinary Playscapes to San Francisco and are looking forward to the remainder of the exhibition’s run at the Main Library!

We hope to see you in just a few months at our UNITE panel discussion on June 22nd at the SF Public Library’s Koret Auditorium, where we ask the question: Why Play? Join us for this in depth discussion on the benefits and advantages of play in the lives of both kids and adults! RSVP for UNITE: Why Play? today.
