The theme for our next UNITE discussion is data visualization. Join us as our multidisciplinary panel discusses best practices and what’s next in data visualization.
We’ve entered the realm of Big Data — through the web, apps, sensors, and more we’re able to generate data sets so large and complex that it’s impossible to analyze them and make decisions. As data continues to dominate our personal and professional lives, the importance of making that data actionable is of the utmost importance. Data visualization is the presentation of data in a graphical format that makes understanding the data easier and makes decision making better. UNITE is our evening panel discussion series with themes at the intersection of design and just about everything else. We set a theme and curate 4 panelists that each cover a different facet of that topic — our goal is to bring together a broad community of diverse people around design. The event begins with mingling and networking, after the panel discussion there is a question and answer segment that is always interesting. Join us!
