Headlining Personalities

Desmond MarzetteGala 6 Keynote Speaker

Global Director of Brand Connections (Advertising) at Nike, Jordan Brand

Desmond Marzette fell in love with music, sports, and marketing at a young age. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he has been obsessed with hip hop, hoops, and Nike commercials for most of his life. Professionally, he has brought his passions for art, inclusivity, and design to some of the biggest names and brands in the industry. Desmond has played roles at powerhouse creative agencies and brands like Wieden+Kennedy, Creative Artist Agency, and Jordan Brand where he has provided creative and strategic leadership to remarkable—and often historic—success. His work on brands like Jordan, Beats, 2K Sports, Nike, Old Spice, Target, and Coca-Cola have earned him recognition from industry leaders, including the Cannes Festival of Creativity and the Association of Independent Commercial Producers. Ultimately, however, Desmond gains the most satisfaction from creating truly epic pop culture moments and experiences for the world to enjoy, just as much as he does.
