This fall, we’re celebrating education environments, urban innovation, sustainability, and 5 years of Design Museum Portland! Join us for a season full of innovators, builders, and makers who are truly changing our city.

Kids Workshop: Build Your Own Bench• 9/22

Aspiring designers of all ages are invited to learn more about Street Seats and imagine your own public bench. Join Design Museum Portland for a kid-friendly tour of the Street Seats exhibition, where we’ll explore the design process, sustainable materials, and the urban environment. Then you’ll have the chance to make your own bench model, out of sustainably sourced materials! Don’t miss this chance to be a part of this fantastic public art exhibition!

UNITE: Reimagine the Urban Experience • 10/11

How do we transform the urban environment on a local level to inspire the city of the future? Moderated by Suzy Alexander of ACME, this discussion will feature experts in sustainability, the built community, and design who are playing integral roles in innovating Portland’s cityscape by collaborating with like-minded organizations both nationally and internationally.
