Join us on Thursday, June 15, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm ET at The Foundry in Cambridge, MA, and live-streamed for our next Design Museum Mornings: Exploring Reflective Narratives in Design Storytelling. This conversation will feature Dr. Jalene Tamerat, Associate Director of Community Engaged Teaching and Research at Northeastern University, and Gina James, Vice President of Strategic Impact, PRX, who will share fresh perspectives and helps us investigate how to integrate this powerful approach across industries.

Storytelling is a valuable part of a human-centered design process — for example, user stories enable designers to understand and work out complex problems in the ideation and prototyping phases, and personas facilitate efficient communication across creative teams. Through storytelling, designers can gain a deeper understanding of the lived experiences of users, unveiling insights and uncovering hidden challenges and opportunities that may go unnoticed through traditional research methods. Open to all creative thinkers and problem solvers across industries, this conversation invites you to engage in a dynamic discussion that highlights the power of reflective narration in design storytelling and to create solutions that are more collaborative and accessible.

This event is free and open to the public. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
