Join Design Museum Everywhere for a pop-up exhibition on Saturday, April 28 at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm et, in Cambridge for the Bionic 5K! We’ll be hosting a selection of work from our traveling exhibition, Bespoke Bodies: The Design & Craft of Prosthetics, which centers disabled perspectives in an exploration of the past, present, and future of prosthetic design. The pop-up will also feature an activity table with free Design Together activities and materials for young people and their families. Early visitors will also receive a free copy of The Inclusive Design Issue while supplies last. This program is free and open to the public. Find us at the back right corner of the race parking lot against the brick wall.

The Bionic 5K is an inclusive road race in Harvard Square that brings disabled, adaptive, and non-disabled athletes together, and aims to dismantle disability bias, build empathy, and foster connection through education, story, and sport.

The Inclusive Design Issue and related programming such as this one was made possible with funding from Sappi: Ideas that Matter.
