Design Museum Mornings with Leigh Stringer, Principal at EYP

According to Jeff Pfeffer, author of Dying for a Paycheck, stress is the fifth leading cause of death at work. So what is causing us this stress? The list is long! It could be a bad commute, a disagreement with a colleague or boss, crazy deadlines, fear of being fired, taking on too much responsibility, working long hours, no control over the outcomes of your work or, sadly, dealing with sexual assault or abuse from a colleague. Leigh Stringer, Principal at EYP, will share findings from her research on health and share practical ways that design and the built environment can help reduce stress and anxiety at work.

Join us in July for Design Museum Mornings at National Office Furniture for a great conversation about how to design your workplace in a way that can reduce stress.
