Gala 10 celebrates the 10th anniversary of Design Museum Foundation and represents the largest fundraising initiative of the Foundation. The money raised supports our commitment to bring the transformative power of design everywhere – including the Exchange at 100 Federal Street!
Step into a jewel box set in the middle of the city and explore a night filled with inspiring company, fantastic auction items, stimulating surprises, and tasty treats. Sponsorship levels range from $1,000 to $20,000. Individual tickets to Gala Dinner and the Gala Social are also available.
Gala Dinner • 5:30pm – 8:00pm
VIPs and top sponsors arrive for a cocktail reception followed by a multi-course dinner prepared by Boston’s top chefs. Don’t go to bed early or you risk missing an epic dance party under the stars set to live music.
Gala Social • 8:30pm – 10:30pm
Night owls and young professionals join the party after dinner and enjoy late night snacks, live music, and dancing under the stars!
Where does the money raised at this event go?
Funds raised at this event immediately support our mission to bring the transformative power of design everywhere. Because of our unique business model we have practically no overhead, meaning all of our funding goes directly into making our most important programs and exhibitions come to life:
- Bespoke Bodies • The Boston launch of this prolific exhibition includes first-person stories from our local limb loss and limb difference communities.
- We Design • This exhibition, premiering Fall 2019, will explore the creative professions and the diverse individuals who thrive and excel in their fields.
- Neighborhood Service Project • Putting the power of design impact directly into the hands of our neighborhood’s children.
