Design Museum Mornings with Charlotte S. Yeh M.D, Chief Medical Officer for AARP Services, Inc.
Every day, 10,000 people in the U.S. turn 65. If so many of us are living longer, isn’t it time we reconsider what it means to be old? For this month’s Design Museum Mornings Charlotte Yeh, Chief Medical Officer for AARP Services, Inc. will examine how optimism and positive perceptions of aging can spark new solutions that help more of us choose how we live and age.
Studies have been showing that optimism and a positive view of aging add years to people’s lives. Participants will leave with a renewed understanding of how a positive outlook of aging creates opportunity for design that fosters joy, improved connection and can result in ageless design.
Join us in October for Design Museum Mornings at Optum for breakfast and a great conversation about design for all ages.
Doors open at 8:30am; Presentation begins at 9:00am.
